Abbey Camaclang is a postdoctoral research fellow in the School of Biological Sciences at Monash University.
Her research interests focus on the development and application of decision tools to help strengthen the links between science, policy, and management for the conservation of threatened species and ecological communities.
Previous research for her PhD at the University of Queensland was on critical habitat identification for threatened species.
As part of the NESP Threatened Species Recovery Hub, she is working with Dr Joslin Moore on developing decision frameworks to help identify optimal strategies for managing multiple threats to alpine peatlands in Victoria.
