Dr David Newell

Dr David Newell is a Senior Lecturer at Southern Cross University in Lismore, Northern New South Wales. He has been monitoring frogs in the Gondwana rainforests for over 20 years and utilises a variety of methods including capture mark recapture, patch occupancy and eco-acoustics. He is also undertaking research to better understand host responses to the amphibian chytrid fungus in the field.
