Dr Eve McDonald-Madden is a Chief Investigator on the ARC Centre of Excellence for Environmental Decisions and an Australian Research Council Early Career Research Fellow with the School of Geography, Planning and Environmental Management, at The University of Queensland.
The foundation of her work is the application of applied mathematics and artificial intelligence techniques to conservation problems. More commonly associated with the science of robotics, web-search, and spacecraft control, she has demonstrated how these techniques can be a powerful way to find novel solutions to the complex challenges of managing natural systems.
