Ms Jenny Newport

Jenny is a research officer at the Fenner School of Environment and Society, The Australian National University. Since 2010, Jenny has been working with Professor Adrian Manning on the Mulligans Flat – Goorooyarroo Woodland Experiment and was involved in the reintroduction of the eastern bettong, eastern quoll and two Pseudomys species into Mulligans Flat Woodland Sanctuary in the Australian Capital Territory.

Jenny has over 15 years’ experience in field ecology, reintroductions, and fauna monitoring. After her Bachelor of Science Degree (Biology Major) from Sydney University, Jenny worked at Arid Recovery for two years as an Ecologist, where she was involved with native and feral animal monitoring and research.
