Jess Connolly

Jess Connolly is an honours student at Monash University. She is majoring in ecology and conservation biology.

Her research project will involve surveying peatlands across the Bogong High Plains in order to investigate the surface water properties and perform peat depth measurements. The focus of this project will be to examine the differences in these attributes between peatlands of differing condition and across the landscape. The major outcome of this project will be to collect baseline information at sites where the surface water properties have not previously been measured. This project will also identify parameters that are sensitive to changes in condition.
