Micha Jackson is a post doctoral research fellow at The University of Queensland working on Australia’s Threatened Species Index (https://tsx.org.au/), which is supported through the Threatened Species Recovery Hub of the Australian Government’s National Environmental Science Program. She has engaged in wildlife monitoring for over a decade, and is passionate about achieving improved environmental outcomes through evidence-based research and strong collaborative partnerships. Experience from previous roles includes supporting Indigenous land and sea management in northern Australia and researching shorebird migration ecology in the East Asian-Australasian Flyway.
