Natalie Briscoe's research focuses on understanding why species can persist in some areas but not in others, and identifying refuges from threats such as climate change, invasive predators and disease. She uses mechanistic models that incorporate information about species traits, as well as detailed environmental data on climate and landscape attributes, to predict where species may be protected from particular threats.
