Nick Rodriguez completed his honours project on the western swamp turtle at the University of Western Australia. His research focused on nesting behaviour
and used modelling to determine how the optimal geographical range for swamp turtle nests may shift as a result of a warming and drying climate. He
has since been involved as a research assistant in both assisted migration trials for the species.
