Ram Pandit is a Senior Lecturer of Environmental Economics at The University of Western Australia, Australia.
His research focuses on a range of areas in environmental and resource economics with a particular emphasis on forest resources management and conservation policy. He uses economic perspectives to examine research questions related to threatened species, biodiversity conservation, protected area management, community and urban forestry.
Ram has a particular interest in using environmental valuation and socio-ecological system perspective in examining conservation policy, challenges and opportunities.
