Sarah Barrett has worked for the Department of Parks and Wildlife, Albany, on the south coast of Western Australia since 1994 when she undertook a biological survey of mountains of the south coast region.
Since then she has been involved in threatened flora and threatened ecological community conservation, Phytophthora dieback management, fire ecology and vegetation survey.
Sarah completed a PhD at Murdoch University which investigated the use of the fungicide phosphite to protect native plant communities from Phytophthora dieback.
