Tom Duncan graduated from Monash University in 2005, with majors in ecology, evolution and linguistics, before completing a Master of Environmental Management at Charles Darwin University in 2015.
He has professional experience working as a field ecologist and threatened species researcher in various locations in northern Australia, and his research interests include tropical fire ecology, cross-cultural biodiversity management and the conservation benefits of ecotourism.
Tom is currently living, working and carrying out research for his PhD on the Tiwi Islands in the Northern Territory.
