The database was produced as part of the National Environment Science Program (NESP) Threatened Species Recovery hub project 4.2 “Saving species on Australian islands”. The database uses island data developed by the Australian government and released under Creative Commons license CC-BY: “Islands of Australia, 2015, Commonwealth of Australia 2015”.
