The Kangaroo Island dunnart is a small carnivorous native marsupial that is listed nationally as Endangered and is restricted to Kangaroo Island. Some of the key aims of this project are:
• to understand how the Kangaroo Island dunnart will respond to broad scale feral cat control
• to determine how best to monitor the species
• to fill knowledge gaps about the ecology, habitat preferences, distribution and abundance of the species.
